About crafting[]
Crafting is a mechanic that allows you to create a wide variety of weapons, potions and items out of various materials or ingredients. Crafting items requires different skills, depending on the object you craft.
You also need the recipe or schematics of the object you want to craft. Recipes or schematics can be bought from traders, found in containers, or be given as a quest reward. To craft you need a crafting station.
Crafting stations[]
Workbench[]
Typically found in work environments or technical departments, workbenches used to craft most of the things you can make. Weapons, explosives and modules are all made here. Additionally you can repair and enhance weapons and armor you've got.
The demopony's field kit allows you to craft explosives anywhere. The portable workbench however cannot be used to make or enhance anything. Only to repair equipment.

Laboratory bench[]
Typically found in labs or medical locations, laboratory benches are used to craft various potions, fuels and chemicals.
The field lab allows you to craft anything that the laboratory bench can from anywhere.

Stove[]
Typically found in residential areas or near dining halls, the stove allows you to cook all sorts of foods that provide long lasting buffs.
There is no portable version of the stove.
