The terminal near entry doesn't give you any information about the minigame, except that self-levitation and teleportation are disabled. You'll see some ladders and platforms, and below a pool of water. However if you drop into the water, the floor collapses and you land in a pit filled with scorpions!
Enemies[]
In the bottom section you can find 4 normal Radscorpions and a one starred specimen, named Digger (a bit stronger than regular scorps).
Horseshoes[]
There are 8 horseshoes in this trial - one under the entrance and 7 in the vertical part on the right side of the room. If you want to all of them, you'll need to do some parkour. You can do it after you complete trial, or if you fall. The horsehoes are worth 100xp each.
Notable loot[]
Rewards are in the safe in the area where you fight scorpions.
