In order to get to the safe you need to either break the glass, or get around the building. Watch out for mines, traps, and a single Spider-mine.
When you try to activate the safe, it will escape you, sliding down. At the same time the gate blocking your way underground unlocks. You must go below ground, where the "surprise" awaits.
The surprise is an alicorn standing near the blue door. You must defeat her to access the safe.
