You have to activate two buttons on the opposite the sides of the room at the same time. Every button - when pressed - only stays activated for some time, before it shuts down again. The button on the top opens both doors for a short time.
It's easiest to complete the trial using the safe in the room to block one of the doors. Move it close to one door, press the top button, then run to the door and move the safe into a doorway so the door can't close.
Now activate the top button again, this time running to the opposite door. The door also won't close if you stand in the doorway yourself. Now that both doors are open (one is blocked by a safe, other by yourself), just press the button near you and run to the other button. Once both are activated, the safe will open.
You'll need at least Telekinesis-1 to move the safe.
Alternatively, you can complete this trial if you can run very fast - a combination of Potion of vivacity, Dash/Ultra-Dash and Kinetic dash should allow you to press top button, then one of the bottom ones, then top button again, and other bottom one quickly enough to complete the trial without the help of the safe.
