Fallout Equestria: Remains Wiki

Ultra-sentinel is a bigger, tougher version of sentinels with a rainbow pattern at the top.

Location[]

Ultra-sentinel can be found in the third room of stable 88 core. Before boss fight you overhear dialogue between two slavers. They talk about a large robot that killed several raiders and must be destroyed in order to progress through the stable.

Behaviour and strategy[]

For general tips for fighting bosses, see Bosses.

Ultra-sentinel is a very tough opponent because of it's thick armor, constant flight, deployable shield and guns that deal high damage. Standing still for too long is generally inadvisable.

It's attacks consist of:

  • Firing a barrage of 7 explosive rockets. This attack is indicated by a series of red lights appearing over your character.
  • Firing a single gas rocket that creates a cloud of gas, dealing constant damage if you're inside the cloud. This attack is indicated by a series of lime lights appearing over your character.
  • Firing it's plasma minigun constantly in your direction. This attack is indicated by a series of green lights appearing over your character.
  • Releasing a cluster of plasma grenades in random directions. The bottom floor becomes highly dangerous during this attack.

After every attack it flies to a new location.

Your best option during this fight is to keep mobile. Make sure your legs and body are in good condition throughout the fight. Dodging rockets is a simple task, only requiring you to step away from where the attack was indicated. Dodging the plasma minigun is much harder, requiring you to keep constantly running or take cover to avoid taking damage.

Once Ultra-sentinel reaches 50% health, it will deploy a magical shield. The shield will reduce damage dealt to it by 15 (on top if it's armor), making low damage per shot weapons very ineffective against it.

Similar to other enemies, Ultra Sentinel's armor can be broken, as can it's shield. This allows low damage weapons to deal damage, however the armor and shield have high durability, enough to last the entire fight if using stronger weapons, so it's not recommended unless you have no high damage weapons available.

At the bottom left and right corners are vents highlighted by purple lights which act as teleporters. They will bring you up to the top platform, letting you quickly change location or avoid any plasma grenades. Taking cover behind the solid part of the top platform will protect you from plasma minigun, but rockets can still deal damage to you (and can eventually destroy the platform).

Unlike most boss fights, no other enemies will spawn.

Recommended gear[]

It's recommended to use armor with plasma resistance, as the plasma minigun is harder to dodge than rockets. Alternatively use explosion resistant armor.

Any weapon with high damage per shot or can use armor piercing ammunition will work well - e.g. sniper rifles, hunting rifles and plasma weapons. Grenades can deal very high damage if you've got the Grenader perk. Lightning Bolt is not recommended, due to the boss constantly being in flight taking reduced damage.

Minigun with armor piercing ammunition or Perforator perk works very well, as it is capable of piercing the armor while dealing high damage per second.

The acid gun can be used to quickly destroy it's armor, increasing the damage of all other weapons, especially high fire rate ones.
