Valuables are items that can be found by looting. They don't serve any function to the player character, but can be sold for caps to merchants. Some valuables are needed to complete certain quests (e.g. Pre-war books). This doesn't prevent the player from selling them.

Note: selling prices are not affected by the Barter skill.
