Zambezi is a merchant at Covertsign, who tells you about the dangers of the Canterlot ruins.

Zambezi sells a variety of things, most of it being potion ingredients and advanced recipes. The Potion of purification is of particular interest, as it will remove curses.
Many ingredients come from enemies, allowing you to buy them directly from her rather then hunt for them.
